Tax Specialist – Global Hedge Fund (Competitive Base, Bonus & Benefits)

About the role

This newly created position sits within a high‑performing tax function of a leading global hedge fund. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of UK and international tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate tax and VAT compliance across the UK and EMEA.
• Manage withholding tax processes and assist with transfer pricing reviews.
• Prepare regulatory tax reporting and monitor legislative changes in multiple jurisdictions.
• Contribute to tax projects, process improvements and internal audits.

Required profile

• ACA or CTA qualified with 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience gained within financial services or a leading accountancy firm.
• Strong understanding of UK tax; exposure to European tax regimes, transfer pricing and withholding tax is advantageous.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and eager to develop technical expertise in a global investment business.
