Taxi Driver

About the role

Riviera Cars is looking for a full‑time Taxi Driver to join its professional transfer service. You will operate within the company’s designated service areas, transporting passengers safely to and from London’s major airports and local destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Accept bookings via dispatch system or mobile app and plan efficient routes.
• Transport passengers to and from airports and local locations, adhering to schedules.
• Assist passengers with luggage and provide courteous, clear communication throughout each journey.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented vehicle and follow all traffic and safety regulations.
• Handle payments, report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly, and keep accurate records.

Required profile

• Valid UK driving licence with a clean or low‑points record.
• Eligibility for a private‑hire or taxi licence as required by local authorities.
• Strong knowledge of London airports and surrounding areas (Windsor, Maidenhead, Burnham, Taplow, Slough) or ability to learn routes quickly.
• Reliable time‑management, ability to work independently and flexibly across shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Good spoken English and respectful interaction with passengers from diverse backgrounds.

Required skills

• Confident driving abilities and safe vehicle operation.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
