About the role
Join a supportive secondary school in Worthing as a Music Teacher, delivering inspiring lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This temporary full‑time position offers the chance to nurture musical talent and foster a lifelong appreciation of music.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their musical potential.
- Contribute to school concerts, performances and extracurricular activities.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
- Passion for music education and student development.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of music theory, performance and curriculum.
- Ability to design creative, student‑centred lesson plans.
- Proficiency in assessing and supporting diverse learner needs.
