Teacher Trainer Lecturer (Part‑time, 2 days/week)

About the role

Herts Resourcing Group Ltd is recruiting a Teacher Trainer Lecturer for Hertford Regional College. The role involves delivering high‑quality teacher‑training programmes across the Ware and Broxbourne campuses, with a mix of on‑site and online teaching. It is a part‑time contract (0.4 FTE) running from mid‑August 2026 until July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned, coordinated teaching on assigned subjects and contribute to other programmes as required.
• Prepare and use learning materials and resources in line with college policy.
• Design teaching, learning and assessment documentation.
• Conduct observations and joint moderation for teacher‑education programmes.
• Carry out regular programme and course reviews, producing action plans for strategic planning.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental strategic planning.
• Promote the curriculum area through events, recruitment interviews, open days and marketing activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in teacher education and training.
• Ability to work across multiple campuses and deliver lessons remotely.
• Flexibility to work at least one evening and one day per week, with adaptable scheduling.
• Familiarity with college policies, assessment procedures and curriculum development.
