Teaching Assistant (2 positions) – Primary Academy

About the role

We are seeking two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join Wellington Eagles Primary Academy on a fixed‑term, part‑time basis. You will support teachers and pupils across the 4‑11 age range, helping to deliver an engaging curriculum during term time.

Key responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation, delivery and assessment.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils who need additional help.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Support the organisation of classroom resources and materials.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor pupil progress and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and reliable with a genuine passion for primary education.
• Ability to work effectively with children aged 4‑11.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to the school’s inclusive values and ethos.
