About the role
We are seeking a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join Yew Tree Primary School. The role involves working across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience, to help children achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Assist class teachers in delivering learning activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils.
- Help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Support pupils’ social and academic development.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
- Patient, caring and adaptable attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for supporting pupil development.
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (desirable).
- Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.
