Teaching Assistant – Brent (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Brent. You will work closely with teachers to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create an inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support, including for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Help prepare learning resources and classroom materials.
• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence and social development.
• Support positive behaviour management and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals.

Required profile

• Passionate about working with children and supporting their education.
• Patient, approachable and able to act as a positive role model.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
