About the role
Reed Education is partnering with a Multi‑Academy Trust in East Leeds to place experienced Teaching Assistants in primary schools on a short‑term, supply basis. You will work closely with teachers to support individual pupils or small groups throughout the school day, helping them achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the classroom for each session in collaboration with the class teacher.
- Provide extra support to children as needed.
- Assist teachers with planning and record‑keeping.
- Support teachers in managing class behaviour.
Required profile
- Patient and able to build strong working relationships with children.
- Empathetic, approachable, kind and caring.
- Thorough understanding of safeguarding in a school setting.
- Experience working with special‑needs pupils.
- Strong behaviour‑management skills.
