About the role
Reeson Education is supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Croydon. They are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026 on a full‑time basis, helping students with moderate learning difficulties across a range of subjects.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist students with learning activities in line with lesson plans.
- Use strategies, in liaison with teachers, to help students achieve learning goals.
- Support the planning and delivery of learning activities.
- Build constructive relationships with students, adapting interaction to individual needs.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school, or a recent graduate aiming to become a qualified teacher.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
- Commitment to supporting each student to reach their full potential.
