Teaching Assistant – Graduate Positions in Newham

About the role
We are partnering with a top‑tier all‑through school in the London Borough of Newham to recruit recent Russell Group graduates for full‑time, term‑time teaching assistant positions starting September 2026. The roles support primary and secondary classrooms across a range of subjects and special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons for EYFS, KS1, KS2 and secondary subjects such as Maths, Science, English and Humanities.
- Provide targeted support to SEN pupils, including LSA duties where required.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Contribute to pupil progress monitoring and classroom organisation.
Required profile
- First‑class or 2:1 degree from a Russell Group university.
- Strong A‑Level and GCSE results.
- Willingness to go above and beyond for pupils.
- Confidence and ability to work as part of a team.
Required skills
- Subject‑specific knowledge for assigned teaching areas.
- Understanding of SEN support strategies.
