Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to join our Hindhead campus on a full‑time, term‑time basis. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils, especially those with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to reinforce learning objectives across the curriculum.
• Assist teachers in preparing learning resources and organising the classroom.
• Promote independence, positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Support SEND provision and inclusive classroom practice.
• Contribute to a structured, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in an educational or specialist support setting.
• Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing and continuous professional development.
