Teaching Assistant – Junior & Infant Sites, Edgware (Sep 2026)

About the role

We are seeking two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in Edgware, starting in September 2026. One position will be based on the Junior site and the other on the Infant site, supporting both whole‑class learning and targeted SEN provision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and SEN staff to adapt support as required.
• Support pupils’ academic and social development across both sites.

Required profile

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• Experience supporting children with additional (SEN) needs.
• Flexible, proactive attitude and ability to switch between general TA and SEN roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for child development.
