About the role
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Kensington & Chelsea. The role involves assisting teachers and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development in a vibrant London school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
- Provide individual and small‑group support to help pupils achieve learning goals
- Assist pupils with additional educational needs and tailored support strategies
- Encourage children's confidence, independence and participation in learning
- Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour
- Help prepare teaching resources and maintain an organised learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and nurturing school environment
Required profile
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Caring, patient and approachable with a positive attitude
- Able to motivate and encourage pupils of different abilities
- Strong communicator who works well as part of a team
- Reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high‑quality support
- Previous experience in a school, childcare or educational support role is desirable but not essential
