Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 (Primary School)

About the role

We are seeking qualified Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or Level 3) to support primary classrooms across Preston, Chorley and Leyland. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers an immediate start, working with children from EYFS to Year 6.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the class teacher and support staff to deliver lessons.
• Provide constructive feedback on pupil progress.
• Adapt learning materials to make them accessible for all learners.
• Create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for pupils.
• Support 1:1, SEN, and intervention group sessions as required.
• Use a variety of resources in line with the teacher’s plans.
• Flexibly switch roles within the classroom when needed.
• Follow and implement the school’s behaviour policies.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for working with young people and delivering high‑quality education.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with clear boundaries.
• Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
