About the role
We are looking for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Claygate. The role involves supporting children in Nursery and Reception, delivering play‑based learning and fostering early phonics, language and social development.
Key responsibilities
- Support children across Nursery and Reception classes.
- Deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group assistance where needed.
- Support early phonics, language and social development.
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential).
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Positive, patient and nurturing approach.
- Reliable, proactive and a strong team player.
