Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑regarded primary school in Slade Green, Bexley, to recruit a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant for a full‑time, term‑time only contract starting September 2026. The role offers the chance to inspire young minds and make a tangible difference in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Help pupils with varying learning needs access the curriculum effectively.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
• Prepare learning resources and classroom activities.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children’s development.
• Positive and proactive approach to learning and behaviour support.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
