Teaching Assistant – Nursery Class (Full‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a busy Nursery Class in a primary school in Morecambe. Working alongside the class teacher, you will help create a supportive and engaging environment for young learners throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Support children’s learning through play‑based and structured activities.
- Promote wellbeing, safety and positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Help prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Required profile
- Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to support children’s development and wellbeing.
