Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Chippenham)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, welcoming primary school in Chippenham. The role starts in September and runs during term time, offering the chance to support young learners in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and ensure every child feels included and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
• Support lesson planning, classroom activities and organisational tasks.
• Help maintain classroom resources and assist with student assessments.
• Promote positive behaviour and provide additional support to pupils with special needs.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for education and working with children.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with parents.
