Teaching Assistant – Primary School (KS1) – Hammersmith

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding primary school in Hammersmith for the new academic year. The role focuses on supporting a SEN pupil on a 1:1 basis while also assisting the wider KS1 classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to a SEN pupil under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
• Deliver targeted interventions to help pupils make academic and social progress.
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing feedback with teaching staff.
• Support pupils facing emotional or social barriers to learning.

• Confidence working both 1:1 and in small groups.

Required skills
