About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Mitcham. The role starts immediately and supports KS1 and KS2 pupils, helping them achieve their full potential in a caring, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons for KS1 and KS2 classes.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils as needed.
- Help maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
- Support the school’s inclusive policies and contribute to pupil wellbeing.
Required profile
- Experience working with primary‑age children, preferably in a school setting.
- Positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow guidance from senior leadership and teachers.
