Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Salisbury)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Salisbury. The role supports classroom learning across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping students achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering well‑planned lessons in core and foundation subjects.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils, including those with ASD, behavioural challenges or learning difficulties.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and share observations with the teaching team.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and eager to support young learners.
• Recent graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge.
• Ability to connect with children and work collaboratively with staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to the varied needs of a primary classroom.
