Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools (Cullompton)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join primary schools in Cullompton and surrounding areas from September. You will support classroom teachers, help pupils build confidence, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Work with pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Encourage positive behaviour and active classroom participation.
• Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials.
• Support pupils with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Promote an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all students.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable).
• Positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for helping children succeed.
• Relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Reliable, adaptable, and eager to support pupil development.
