About the role
Join a supportive network of primary schools in Widnes and Runcorn as a Teaching Assistant. You will help deliver high‑quality education to pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, providing both classroom support and one‑to‑one assistance where needed.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND.
- Assist with intervention and remedial work to reinforce learning.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Cover short‑term or supply placements as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting.
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Ability to provide professional references and complete an Enhanced DBS check if required.
