Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Bromley)

About the role
A supportive secondary school in Bromley is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2026. You will work closely with teachers to support classroom learning and help students reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils during lessons.
- Assist teachers with delivering lessons and preparing classroom materials.
- Help keep students engaged, focused and motivated.
- Support pupils with diverse learning needs, including academic, social and emotional development.
- Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children or young people in education, childcare, coaching, mentoring or a similar support role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, patient and proactive attitude.
- Ability to build constructive relationships with students and staff.
- Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service if not already held.
