About the role
Join a dynamic secondary school in Liverpool as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students aged 11‑16 to achieve their best. This full‑time, temporary position starts in September and offers a rewarding environment for those passionate about education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to students who need extra help.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining classroom engagement.
- Help students prepare for exams, coursework and manage school life.
- Create and adapt learning resources to meet diverse needs.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people in roles such as support worker, tutor, youth leader or care worker.
- Genuine passion for supporting learners aged 11‑16.
- Strong communication and listening abilities.
- Patient, flexible and positive attitude.
- Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
