About the role
We are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to join a brand‑new Special Needs 6th Form school in Slough. The role supports students with learning difficulties, mental health challenges and physical disabilities, helping them achieve independence and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver high‑quality care.
- Follow each student’s individual care plan.
- Teach practical life‑skills such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.
- Support social and behavioural development of students.
Required profile
- Experience in an assisted‑living facility, SEN school or care home.
- Positive, caring attitude with excellent communication.
- Reliability and strong team ethic.
Required skills
- Knowledge of supporting learners with learning difficulties, mental health or physical disabilities.
What we offer
- Full‑time, part‑time and ad‑hoc positions (8.30 am‑3.30 pm, Monday‑Friday).
- Competitive daily rate of £100‑£110.
- Opportunity to work in an ‘OUTSTANDING’ provision.
