Teaching Assistant – Sports Coaching Support in Swindon

About the role

We are looking for sports coaches or recent sports graduates to work as teaching assistants in primary schools across Swindon. The role starts ASAP or in September and offers flexible hours to fit around your coaching or study commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the teacher with lesson planning and preparation of learning materials.
• Adapt teaching support to meet individual student needs.
• Look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare.
• Create an engaging and fun learning environment using a range of resources.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and other professionals to aid learning.

Required profile

• Background as a sports coach or recent sports graduate.
• Ability to work flexibly around existing sports work or studies.
• Enthusiasm for working with children in a primary school setting.
