Teaching Assistant – Two Positions

About the role

We are looking for two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school in Winsford. In this full‑time, temporary role you will help create a positive learning environment and support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Prepare classroom materials and activities.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive atmosphere.
• Provide support for pupils with additional needs when required.
• Contribute to the overall wellbeing and safeguarding of all children.

Required profile

• Previous experience working with children (school‑based experience desirable but not essential).
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant are advantageous.
