Teaching Assistants Needed – Work Available Now and Through Summer

About the role

Reed is partnering with schools in the North West to provide immediate teaching assistant support throughout the summer term and beyond. Positions are available on a flexible basis – from a single day a week to full‑time – to help schools meet the current shortage of support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support for pupils requiring additional help.
• Support early years settings, including EYFS and nursery environments.
• Undertake intervention and HLTA‑type duties as required by the school.

Required profile

• Experience as a teaching assistant or a strong interest in starting a career in education.
• Availability for temporary or longer‑term placements, full‑time or part‑time.
• Flexibility to work in different school settings and adapt to varying schedules.
