Join Marton Care Homes – The Lodge as a dedicated Team Leader and play a pivotal role in enriching the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of physical, emotional, and spiritual care, fostering an environment of dignity and comfort for everyone in our community.
Missions principales
- Lead and support residents in all aspects of daily living, ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained at all times.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff and new team members under the guidance of senior management.
- Monitor residents with complex needs, including those with confusion, behavioral challenges, or learning disabilities.
- Manage care planning, including writing daily reports and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and support for residents with progressive illnesses.
- Promote social engagement by organizing activities and encouraging residents to pursue their hobbies and interests.
- Act as a key point of contact, communicating resident well-being to GPs and support managers.
Profil recherché
- A warm, positive, and highly organized individual with a passion for elderly care.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and flexible, with availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and medical professionals.
Competences requises
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or a strong willingness to obtain it).
- Experience in a similar leadership role within a care setting.
- Ability to manage complex care needs and behavioral monitoring.
- Excellent administrative and reporting skills.
