Team Leader – Care Home (Largs, Scotland)

About the role

As a Team Leader at Bay Court Care Home, you will oversee day‑to‑day care delivery for 80 residents, ensuring safe, high‑quality, person‑centred support. Working closely with the nursing and management teams, you will help maintain standards, support compliance and promote best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise care staff, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management.
• Ensure all practices meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
• Act as a role model, fostering a culture of respect, dignity and accountability.
• Contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Proven experience leading or supporting a care team.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

• £15.00 per hour, contracted to 38.5 hours per week.
