Team Leader – Care Home (Melton Mowbray)

About the role

As a Team Leader in our private luxury care home, you will drive day‑to‑day leadership and ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care for our 88 residents. Working closely with nursing and management teams, you will uphold standards, support compliance and foster a culture of respect and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise care staff, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate delivery of care, including care planning, medication administration, documentation and risk management.
• Ensure all practices meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
• Act as a role model, promoting positive working practices and staff development.
• Contribute to audits, reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Medication administration training with competency.
• Proven experience leading or supporting a care team.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

• £15.00 per hour contract, 38.5‑44 hours per week.
