Team Leader – Complex Needs Service

About the role

Turning Point is seeking a Team Leader to join its Complex Needs Service in Hertfordshire. You will lead a team of Recovery Workers who provide person‑centred support to adults with mental health and related social needs, helping them increase independence and community integration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide line management, supervision and appraisal for a team of Recovery Workers.
• Support service development alongside the Operations Manager and other managers.
• Coordinate triage processes and work closely with senior staff and triage workers to ensure quality and risk management.
• Embed Turning Point’s vision and values within the team and promote recovery‑focused outcomes.
• Collaborate with local partners, housing teams, health and wellbeing services, and other stakeholders to enhance service effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and supporting a team in a health or social care setting.
• Experience delivering supervision, appraisal and performance management.
• Strong understanding of person‑centred, recovery‑oriented approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and with external partners.
