Team Leader – Enforcement Cash, Swindon Magistrates Court

About the role

The HM Courts & Tribunals Service is seeking a Team Leader for the Enforcement Cash team at Swindon Magistrates Court. In this role you will guide a group of staff who ensure that convicted individuals comply with fines and other financial penalties, delivering a high‑quality service to court users and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the Enforcement Cash team to meet performance targets.
• Ensure accurate case administration and timely processing of financial penalties.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards for service users and internal partners.
• Analyse performance data and implement improvements.
• Manage attendance, performance issues and recognise achievements.
• Handle complex or difficult situations professionally and resolve problems swiftly.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop staff.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise and allocate work effectively.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidence in analysing data to inform decisions.
• Ability to manage challenging situations and maintain professionalism.
