Team Leader

About the role

Turning Point is seeking a Team Leader to join its Complex Needs Service in Hertfordshire. You will play a pivotal role in delivering person‑centred mental health support, helping adults with complex needs achieve greater independence and confidence in their communities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and senior managers to develop and improve the service.
• Provide line management, supervision and appraisal for a team of Recovery Workers.
• Coordinate triage processes and work closely with senior staff to ensure quality and risk management.
• Embed Turning Point’s vision and values within the team and across multidisciplinary partnerships.
• Engage with local partners and stakeholders to enhance service effectiveness and outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and supporting a team in a health or social care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver supervision, appraisal and performance management.
• Strong commitment to person‑centred, recovery‑focused support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
