Team Leader – Retail Store (Birkenhead)

About the role

As a Team Leader at our Birkenhead store, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of your department, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction. You will act as a role model for colleagues, supporting them and stepping in to resolve issues on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of retail staff during afternoon shifts (36 hours per week).
• Maintain stock levels, organise merchandise, and support new starters.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold store standards.
• Collaborate with the store manager to meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with a proactive approach.
• Organised, reliable and able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Positive, energetic and a strong team player.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Experience in a retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Good communication skills and a can‑do attitude.
