Team Leader – Takeaway Store (Edinburgh)

About the role

Join Costa Coffee at our St Andrew Square take‑away only store in Edinburgh as a Team Leader. You will oversee daily operations, support your barista team and ensure a smooth, efficient service for customers, even without on‑site toilets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organise each shift to maintain high standards of service and coffee quality.
• Train, coach and support new baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
• Motivate staff, energise the floor and handle any issues with calm and resourcefulness.
• Maintain store hygiene, stock levels and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Adapt quickly to changing demands, ensuring the store runs smoothly.

Required profile

• Reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong communicator and team player who can lead confidently.
• Energetic, positive and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Adaptable and resourceful, ready to step into a leadership role.
• Previous team‑leader experience or a willingness to develop in the role.
