Team Manager – Bakery Operations

About the role

As a Team Manager at our Livingston bakery, you will lead a shift‑based team to achieve strong performance across safety, quality and cost KPIs. Working on a three‑shift pattern, you will rotate between night and day shifts to ensure continuous leadership presence on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of the quality system to eliminate repeat failures and raise overall standards.
• Develop and enhance operational processes to maximise performance and efficiency.
• Lead the operations team to improve plant output and consistency.
• Implement and manage site operational improvement plans that support the bakery’s strategic goals.
• Monitor and deliver on safety, quality and cost targets for each shift.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence across all shift patterns.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading production or manufacturing teams in a shift environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and cost performance.
• Ability to engage and motivate staff to meet site targets.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
