Team Manager

About the role

Turning Point is seeking an inspirational Team Manager to lead the multidisciplinary team at Leigh Bank Residential Rehabilitation Service. You will oversee a 24/7 residential setting, supporting individuals recovering from substance use and helping them build sustainable futures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership for the residential rehabilitation service.
• Motivate, develop and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, governance and clinical standards.
• Manage staffing resources, rotas, recruitment, induction and performance processes.
• Monitor service performance against quality and operational indicators.
• Build and maintain relationships with commissioners, external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Promote a therapeutic, psychologically informed environment and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous management or leadership experience in health, social care, substance use, mental health or residential services.
• Proven ability to support professional development and manage competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience of partnership working with external agencies and stakeholders.
• Commitment to person‑centred, recovery‑focused practice.

Required skills

• IT literacy and experience using electronic record systems.
