Team Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

As a Team Manager at Chanel, you will lead from the front on the boutique floor, ensuring an exceptional client journey through impeccable service, team inspiration, and seamless day‑to‑day operations. You will act as a vital link between the shop floor and senior management, aligning daily performance with Chanel’s strategic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the bridge between the boutique team and senior management, reporting to Assistant Managers and the Boutique Director.
• Motivate, inspire, and coach the team to deliver the ultimate Chanel experience and maintain luxury standards in visual merchandising, wrapping, and replenishment.
• Drive business priorities through client‑facing associate engagement with Chanel tools (e.g., CHANEL & Moi, CRM, IFL).
• Provide feedback on sales, merchandising, and action plans to elevate the client experience.
• Foster a thriving team environment with psychological safety, two‑way communication, and a calm, professional atmosphere.
• Lead transformational initiatives to build the future team and protect the brand long‑term.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and diplomatic skills, able to filter messages between senior managers and the floor.
• Adaptable, curious, and willing to flex into different areas as needed.
• Calm, confident, and responsible with strong organisational and detail‑orientation.
• Decisive with a talent for motivating others and a passion for people management.
