Team Manager – Registered Nurse (Romford)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a registered care home in Romford. As a Team Manager you will oversee support for people with learning disabilities and nursing needs, ensuring person‑centred care and compliance with CQC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the care team through coaching, training and person‑centred support practices.
• Manage risk by ensuring staff understand individual needs, involve families, and accurately record decisions.
• Design and oversee personalised rota planning, including day, night and overnight shifts.
• Oversee the development and review of support plans from referral through assessment and ongoing review.
• Maintain quality indicators, conduct audits, manage resources efficiently and address concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, organisational policies and Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture guidance.

Required profile

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Proven ability to enable choice and control for individuals with learning disabilities.
• Experience leading teams to embed person‑centred working.
• Understanding of challenges faced by people with disabilities.
