Tech Delivery Lead – Financial Crime Prevention

About the role

FDM Group is seeking a Tech Delivery Lead to join a leading bank’s Financial Crime Prevention team. The role is a six‑month fixed‑term contract, hybrid, based in London (or Manchester) and will sit in a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Lab delivering technology solutions for AML, KYC and related initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technology delivery across the CDD Lab portfolio, translating strategic priorities into executable plans.
• Partner with product leadership to shape road‑maps aligned with financial crime objectives.
• Drive multi‑team Agile at scale delivery from design through deployment and adoption.
• Break down strategic initiatives into epics, features and delivery increments, supporting prioritisation across Agile teams.
• Facilitate alignment between Product Owners, Architecture, Engineering and Operations, managing dependencies, risks and governance.
• Provide oversight and challenge to solution architecture, technology strategy and delivery approaches.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technology transformation in Financial Crime, AML, CDD or Client Lifecycle Management environments.
• Strong leadership capability, able to influence architecture, programme delivery and product development.
• Experience operating in a “two‑in‑a‑box” leadership model and managing architects, engineering managers, scrum masters and release train engineers.
• Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and scaling frameworks.
