About the role

We are seeking a Tech Recruiter to join a medium‑sized financial services organisation in Manchester. In this permanent position you will own the end‑to‑end hiring process for technical talent, ensuring the business attracts and secures the best candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for technical roles within the financial services sector.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and craft accurate job descriptions.
• Source, screen and engage candidates through job boards, social media and professional networks.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessing both technical competence and cultural fit.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact through offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Maintain detailed records of recruitment activities and candidate pipelines.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging recruitment technologies.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies throughout the hiring process.

Required profile

• Proven track record in technical recruitment within a human resources context.
• Strong understanding of the financial services talent landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving hiring targets.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and related recruitment tools.
