Technical Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to act as a trusted technical partner for a portfolio of corporate, enterprise and public‑sector customers across the UK. You will help customers maximise the value of our fibre connectivity, managed IT and cybersecurity solutions while driving adoption and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s technical environment, infrastructure and business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on best practices, product capabilities and future roadmaps.
• Create and maintain Technical Success Plans to drive adoption, optimisation, upgrades, migrations and service improvements.
• Identify technical risks early and coordinate mitigation plans, including disaster recovery, continuity and security inputs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Engineering, Service Delivery, Support and other technical specialists to deliver seamless customer success.
• Capture customer feedback and uncover value‑led opportunities that support renewals, product enhancements and long‑term account growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Consultant, Technical Customer Success or similar customer‑facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of networking, telecommunications, managed IT or cybersecurity.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and commercial awareness with a customer‑first attitude.
