Technical Administrator / Compliance Assistant

About the role

We are a growing consumer product manufacturer seeking a Technical Administrator / Compliance Assistant to support product management, ensure global compliance standards are met and obtain necessary testing certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage technical data, ensuring safety tests and technical files are complete before shipment.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, securing timely provision of technical data and audit information.
• Provide input on required testing and associated costs to enable accurate project costing.
• Review artwork to ensure safety text complies with destination country regulations.
• Monitor project critical paths to guarantee on‑time delivery to correct technical specifications.
• Collaborate with the Technical Manager and safety assessors to obtain detailed information promptly.
• Develop proficiency with client and licensor portals.
• Resolve issues quickly and alert key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation for audit purposes.

Required profile

• Experience in an administrative or data‑driven role within the consumer products industry, preferably beauty, cosmetics or wellbeing.
• A degree in a science or cosmetics‑related field is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to learn new regulations and support their implementation.
• Highly accurate, numerate, methodical and analytical.
• Excellent organisational skills, deadline‑driven with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build solid internal and external relationships.
• Comfortable working under pressure and taking initiative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
