Technical Advisory Assistant Manager / Manager

About the role

Pro‑Finance is looking for an experienced auditor to join its Technical Advisory team in London. As a Technical Advisory Assistant Manager or Manager you will work closely with partners and cross‑functional teams, providing guidance on complex audit and regulatory matters for listed and regulated entities.

Key responsibilities

• Review audit reports for listed and regulated entities to ensure compliance with ISAs, company legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Research and respond to technical audit queries from partners and staff.
• Support and advise on the firm’s audit methodology and electronic working‑paper system.
• Update and maintain the audit manual, methodology and templates in line with regulatory changes.
• Deliver training sessions on audit methodology, new standards and regulatory developments.
• Develop and issue technical guidance, papers and materials for firm‑wide use.
• Attend external regulatory events and networking meetings to stay ahead of developments.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience auditing listed clients or working in a large firm on complex audits.
• Strong technical aptitude with a desire to move into advisory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving and project‑management approach.
