Technical Application Specialist

About the role

The Technical Application Specialist will join the Assured Build team to embed security into the design, build and delivery of Lloyds Banking Group platforms. Working in a hybrid model, you will help ensure that hardware, software and firmware meet Security Relevant Configuration (SRC) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess systems against internal security frameworks and define baseline build requirements.
• Use DevOps tools and automation to review, approve and reuse security artefacts across CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Cloud Security Engineers and platform teams to drive standardisation of security policies and portals.
• Evaluate the impact of technology roadmap changes on security patterns and controls.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cyber‑security services, templates and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling complex security‑focused projects.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and share best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on embedding security early in the engineering lifecycle.

Required skills
