Technical Architect / Lead Developer – Systematic Global Macro Fund

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Architect / Lead Developer to drive the technology strategy of a systematic global macro fund and a new quant equity product. The role combines deep software development with leadership of a growing engineering team, offering the chance to shape both the codebase and the culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain front‑ and back‑office systems supporting systematic trading strategies.
• Lead a team of developers, set coding standards, and provide mentorship.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement modern DevOps practices, continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Ensure high‑quality, secure, and performant software throughout the SDLC.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in financial institutions or hedge funds.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on while leading technical teams.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior management.
• Availability to start in the near future is a plus.
