Technical Business Analyst – AWS Cloud Migration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a large‑scale cloud transformation programme. The role bridges business and technical teams as applications are migrated from on‑premise environments to AWS and, where required, to OpenShift. The position is a 6‑month contract, hybrid working with 1‑2 days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements for cloud migration initiatives.
• Support migration of micro‑services‑based applications to AWS, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level design documentation in collaboration with architects and engineering teams.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, architects and delivery teams to maintain clear communication.
• Provide insight into AWS environments (EKS, ECS) and OpenShift to shape solution design.
• Assist with AWS landing zone planning and governance considerations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on cloud migration projects.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud architecture and migration strategies.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
