Technical Business Support Officer

About the role

The Technical Business Support Officer will provide operational, technical and financial assistance to property maintenance teams in Oxfordshire. You will manage data, coordinate contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while using property management software to enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Administer property management systems to track reactive and planned maintenance.
• Control and manage digital project information, including technical drawings, RAMS and contracts.
• Monitor statutory testing and certifications such as fire safety, gas and electrical (EICR).
• Coordinate work orders, variations and contractor communications.
• Process maintenance SOR claims, invoices and cost allocations.
• Generate reports on maintenance trends and contractor performance.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, architects and contractors to resolve technical queries.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including AI‑driven automation tools.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Solid understanding of property maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) and relevant building safety legislation (e.g., CDM 2015).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical dashboards and drive operational improvements.
